Hello everyone! I have some very important and very bittersweet news to share with you all. 

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Julia and I am the owner and head groomer here at Studio 50 Paw. I opened the doors to the studio back in 2020, right before the world stopped and we went into lockdown. I was lucky enough to have had the help of family and friends when they could, but primarily I was working entirely by myself to build my business in the middle of a global pandemic. Slowly but surely, things picked up and I was able to hire the help of the amazing groomers you now all know and love. I am so grateful for the amazing team I have who have helped grow the salon, and the wonderful community we have surrounding us today. 

While the last four years have shown incredible growth, my physical health has unfortunately steadily and rapidly declined, and I am now having to accept the fact that I am no longer able to continue doing what I love. Moving forward, you will still see me around the salon overseeing things and doing the boring business things, but all grooming duties will be performed by the incredible groomers I have here.  

The staff here have all been hand-picked by myself, so I have complete faith and confidence in them to continue providing you with the care and smiling services you have all come to know and love. For the days I won’t be in the studio, I have two amazing groomers who will be in charge of things: Annie, who has been grooming for even longer than I have and has taught me so much of what I know, and Jules (aka little Julia) who will be our new assistant manager! I took Jules under my wing when she was just 16 and I have seen first-hand how hard she has worked and trained to become the wonderful groomer she is today. With these two in charge, and our incredible team supporting them, I have complete confidence that our salon and your pooches will continue to be in the best and most capable hands.

I ask you to please be kind and considerate to all our staff members, and remember that everyone here has worked hard to build a great and caring relationship with your companions and a safe salon for everyone. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
